Biodynamic farming is a holistic approach to agriculture in which vitality has the highest priority. Its origin lies in the agricultural course held by Rudolf Steiner in 1924. Demeter is the international logo of certified biodynamic food that you will see on packaging in shops and supermarkets, in farm shops, and at farmers' markets selling biodynamic food. It is the world's oldest certification mark, and is your guarantee of high quality food, wine and products farmed and produced to the highest standards.
About Giancarlo Ceci
Deep roots and a great family passion since 1819 when Consalvo Ceci (seven generations before Giancarlo) acquires the estate. It would be enough to tell the story of this company to realise the dedication and care that the Ceci family has been dedicating to the land and its fruits for almost two hundred years. The estate is located in a strategic position, 250 meters away. altitude, between Andria and Castel del Monte, and 20 kilometers from the sea in the pre-Murgian hilly area which at that time (early nineteenth century) was destined to pastures. It was during the years 1840-1900 that the following generations made improvements by planting olive trees for oil and wine vines, tracing the way to the future. In 1988, after graduating in Agriculture, Giancarlo founded Agrinatura with the aim of continuing family farming traditions with full respect for the environment. As evidence of this, the company has been converting the organic one since 1988 and in 2011 it transforms it into a biodynamic company, paying great attention to the control of the entire production chain: from the cultivation of the land to the final consumer.
